Rachel's have participated in the score for a film that will premier this week in Rome.
Directed by Mimmo Calopresti, the project collects survivors testimonys and archive footage to tell the story of the Italian Jews during the Holocaust.
Produced by Steven Spielberg for the Shoah Foundation, the film will be presented this week in Rome as part of the National Day of Memory in Italy.
On 27 January 1945 the Nazi extermination camp of Auschwitz was liberated. Every year in Italy, that day is dedicated to remembrance and commemoration, not to forget the Shoah, the systematic persecution and genocide of different ethnic, religious and political groups during World War II by Nazi Germany, whose main victims were six million European Jews.
