We've added a handful of new dates to the Slint reunion tour. Check them out below.
Brian McMahan, Britt Walford and David Pajo are back in the saddle again. Thanks to the kind folks at All Tomorrow's Parties, Slint will be playing select dates in the U.S. and Europe performing in its entirety what continues to be, 16 years after release, a legendary meditation on musical innovation—1991's Spiderland. In conjunction with ATP’s "Don't Look Back" series, Slint will reassemble for eleven dates, make like Sonic Youth (the first to announce their participation in the series) and plug in for a tour down memory lane. Nostalgia aside, though, Slint are playing music for keeps. We may have discreetly mentioned that last week around this time here.
More details and confirmations will follow as they are presented. Tickets for the New York dates will go on sale through Ticketweb on Friday, March 23. Check back often to stay on the ball.
