*UPDATE* Ted Leo to participate in 24-hour Human Giant-athon

If there were ever an excuse to throw a slumber party, this would be it. MTV's new sketch comedy series, Human Giant, has convinced MTV networks to lend them the driver's seat to both MTV and MTV2 for 24 hours. We're pretty sure Andy Kaufman tried this stunt once but not even he could get a whole day's worth of programming. This is history in the making, folks.

So, why do we care? Because this extravaganza, to begin airing at 12 pm on Friday, May 18, will feature a dear friend of ours named Ted Leo. We don't know exactly what he'll be doing but we're guessing the adjectives "zany," "wacky," and "off-the-wall" will be well-employed for this 24-hour period. Ted will grace your television sets at 2pm EST. Grab your pajama pants, sleeping bags and microwave popcorn and pass the word on to your friends.
