We are excited to announce that we will be reissuing three full-length TV on the Radio albums - Desperate Youth, Blood Thirsty Babes, Return to Cookie Mountain and Dear Science - on May 10, in all territories outside of North America. You can pre-order your copies HERE Following the 2003 release of TV on the Radio’s stunning EP Young Liars, the band’s 2004 debut full-length Desperate Youth, Blood Thirsty Babes quickly set TV on the Radio on the path to being one of the most talked-about new groups in America. The band capped a year of critical acclaim and non-stop activity when their debut album was awarded The 2004 Shortlist Prize, which was created "to honor the most creative and adventurous albums of the year across all genres of music." In early 2006, the band’s second studio album, Return to Cookie Mountain, garnered pre-release praise from multiple press outlets, including Pitchfork, before its official release in July of that same year. Named 2006 Album of the Year by Spin Magazine, the album includes guest appearances from David Bowie, Yeah Yeah Yeah’s guitarist Nick Zinner, and members of Celebration, Antibalas, and Blonde Redhead. Originally released in 2008, the band’s third studio album, Dear Science, opened with vintage TVOTR, but the nostalgia quickly fades. With Dear Science, the band continued to push the limit with sonic experiments that fill out the rest of the album. Glimmers of drum & bass, drunken horn sections, and carefully-plucked strings spice up what's clearly TVOTR’s most challenging effort yet, rewriting the group's gloomy, stormy aesthetics with the same emotional core. Desperate Youth, Blood Thirsty Youth is a double vinyl LP packaged in a full-color single LP jacket with lyric sheet insert. Double LP features an extra track and etching. Return To Cookie Mountain is packaged in a full-color single LP jacket with a full-color inner sleeve and pressed on standard weight black vinyl. Dear Science is packaged in a full-color gatefold LP jacket and pressed on standard weight black vinyl. All LPs include a coupon for a digital download of the album.
