Ted Leo & The Pharmacists embark on tour with Death Cab for Cutie

After a bit of a post-festival (Coachella, Pitchfork, Touch and Go, ACL) nap, Ted, Dave and Chris will return to the road next month for a fall tour of Canada and the eastern US. Sandwiched between a handful of shows as headliner, Ted Leo & The Pharmacists will take a month-long run opening for none other than Death Cab for Cutie.

The tour with Death Cab kicks off on October 26 with a performance at Tower Theater in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. You can find tickets on-sale now through Ticketmaster.

After the final encore, the band will head home to begin work on their upcoming record slated for release in early 2007. More details to follow shortly.
