John and Joey of Calexico to open up for The Swell Season

Our pals Joey Burns and John Convertino from Calexico are playing a one-off show, opening for friends of the family (and Oscar winners!) The Swell Season (aka Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová) in Phoenix on Wednesday, April 23 at the Orpheum Theatre.

If you're lucky enough to A) live in the Phoenix area and B) get a ticket to this show, make sure you get there to see J&J take it back to their days as a duo. It's sure to be a beautiful thing.
