Henry Rollins

What can be said about Henry Rollins that you don’t already know? From Washington D.C., Rollins first sang for early Dischord band SOA in 1980 as Henry Garfield, and then became the vocalist of Black Flag in 1981. Corey Rusk, owner of Touch and Go, first met Henry while Henry was in SOA and Corey was in the Necros. After Black Flag’s breakup in 1986, Henry formed The Rollins Band and over the following two decades became an accomplished actor, writer, spoken-word artist, book publisher, journalist, and television host. Quarterstick has released a number of Henry’s works, including a live Rollins Band album and a number of compelling spoken word albums. Touch and Go also distributes 2.13.61, Rollins’ record label named after his date of birth.
